I currently work as a Senior Systems Engineer / Senior BOFH for Andover.net, OSDN, OSTG SourceForge Inc.. Its a great job but some days I wish I could move back to Seattle or even Philly where the people are cool and the weather is better (Yea I like the cloudy over cast over slush and humidity any day, Philly just like the some of the people and well my family). Until then I will be happy with living in San Francisco Alameda and driving to Fremont where the office is.

I went to Antioch College where I graduated with two degrees, Comunications BS (Film Production) and Computer Science BS.

For awhile I did the Film gig and got some work here and there but in the end I got pulled back in to computer world since being broke wasn't working out that well.

The idea I had was I would go do some computer work to make enough money to work on film for free. The problem with that is getting the time off from work I found out. It did workout for while when I was a graduate student at the Univ of Iowa in the Geomorphology Department (link might work 50% of the time).

You might ask how does someone who graduated College with Film Production and Computer Science become a Geomorphology Graduate student, I ask that to myself offen. It was an very interesting part of my live. I still have some great memories of people I meet there but I've lost contact with all of them. One of the reason I sign up to so many different social networks is so I don't loose contact with people.

If your an Antioch College Student or Alumni you might want to check out http://antirecord.com . Think of it as an alternative to the Record since the College has no control over it. While your visiting you should note that the college is closing its doors in June of 2008.

For those just bored here is my other website 230volts.net . Nothing special there except some webcam archive software I put together and should update, or just delete since its so dated. I've started to write it in perl years ago then stopped. Might just be time to write it in Python or Ruby and make it a true Web 2.0 app instead.
